Les Philistins

Legend has it that the Pertuisiens, caught in the offense of cutting wood in the Iscles de la Durance, were beaten by the Peyrollais. Impressed by this mishap, our Vaucluse neighbors nicknamed their attackers "Les Philistins" because they were muscular and strong in the fight. This legend is perhaps inspired by a real event.  ​Today, the proud descendants of the Philistins are happy to welcome you in a friendly atmosphere to their tavern. You can enjoy the specialty of the tavern, cheese or cold cuts. They promise you good feasts and good laughs in front of the soldier camps, the knights and the various activities.
